Landscape Diamond Paintings

Open sky, water and simple mountain shapes create broad areas, while dense forests, villages, reflections and rocky foregrounds introduce many more separate details. The subject matters less than how much is packed into the scene.

Scenes with a clear horizon, large sky areas, lakes or broad mountain ranges give you longer uninterrupted sections to work on. Woodland paths, busy gardens and detailed villages require more frequent changes of area and symbol.

They can be, but very small background objects are the first details to simplify when a design is charted. If those distant features are important to you, choose a composition where they occupy enough visible space rather than sitting as tiny marks on the horizon.
